Investigation of the effect of welding and rotational speed on strain and temperature during friction stir welding of AA5083 and AA7075 using the CEL approach

Abstract In this study, the friction stir welding between AA5083 and AA7075 is modeled using numerical methods, role of parameters affecting process, such as speed rotation on material flow, temperature, strain, studied. The mixing were analyzed while to alloys a Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) approach. It was discovered that CEL approach had accurately anticipated materials in zone (SZ) by comparing SZ samples fabricated experimentally simulation. Results show temperature strain increase dramatically increases from 500 900 rev min −1 . flow obtained simulation shows with increasing rotational or decreasing speed, more stretched towards sheet’s higher surfaces, indicating an intensity. Better increased allowed for achievement maximum tensile strength at speeds 36 mm
